Our sit-on-top kayaks can be used by individuals with no experience for a fun exploration of scenic coastlines in Cyprus. The trip is a short version of our highly popular kayaking trip in the area. We explore the Ayia Napa Sea Caves complex. If the water is calm, we enter 2 sea caves (but not from 15 Nov to April), 1 of which has 2 entrances. We also visit Lovers' bridge. The water is crystal clear, especially under calm conditions.

Near Agia Napa there are sea caves with beautiful colours that we could enter (usually we enter two), as well as Lovers' Bridge natural arch. This is our main snorkeling route and a bit over 1 km in length. We also visit Konnos beach, at the northern end of the east coast of Cape Greko park for snorkelling as there are good chances for spotting sea turtles. In our snorkeling trips we use buoy(s) so that passing boats know our presense. It should be noted that the trip is customisable. We can finetune the route on the day, depending on the weather and the travellers' profile and preferences. If the customers agree, in case of forecasted choppy sea, instead we snorkel (only) around East Cape Greko (if the weather is expected to be bad everywhere, we cancel the trip).

On your tour you will first reach the famous "Ghost Town” in Famagusta, a zone untouched for over 40 years. You will walk into the abandoned part of the town - Varosha, which before 1974 was a booming resort town with sky-scraping hotels, glamorous shopping districts, and sandy beaches frequently called the best in Cyprus. Heading towards the coast, you will discover the picturesque Kyrenia, commonly known as the Garden of Cyprus. You will visit the Kerynia Castle at the east end of the old harbour. This 16th century castle was built by the Venetians over a previous Crusader fortification. Within its walls lies a 12th century chapel showing reused late Roman capitals, and the Shipwreck Museum. The final location of the program will be the beautiful Bellapais Abbey with its breathtaking views. With its mountain setting, Gothic archways and sense of tranquility, Bellapais Abbey is truly enchanting. Please make sure to have your passport/European ID with you to cross the border.

This coastal walk connects Konnos beach at the northern tip of Cape Greko park with Glyky Nero beach in Ayia Napa. The route is 10 km long on the rocky coast. Cape Greko park is a small park between the bustling beach resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras. The itinerary (a possible stretch of it is on Aphrodite trail) goes by major attractions in the area including the group of sea caves in Agia Napa, the group of sea caves of Cape Greko (known as Palathkia 'ie Palaces), as well as Ammos Tou Kambouri beach, Kermia beach, Kamara tou Koraka natural arch and Agioi Anargyroi chapel (and adjacent cave). Cape Greko park is a good destination also for birdwatchers, especially during spring migration. The waters are usually very calm on the east side. In the hot season sea turtles visit the area to feed. In older times the Mediterranean monk seal was also around - now a few individuals are spotted here sporadically.

You'll arrive mid-morning at rustic and laidback Fikardou. All cobblestones and historic houses, time seems to have frozen still here. Next, you'll head to the 12th-century Macharias Monastery, which is located on a remote hillside. Its lavishly decorated interior houses a sacred icon of the Virgin Mary. We'll then go to charming Lefkara, a village famed for its handmade lace and embroidery. ‘Women, young and old, can be seen seated outside their homes and shops making lace,' says Stavroula. ‘For hundreds of years, the men from the village have travelled all over Europe to sell it, even Leonardo da Vinci bought some.' The tour ends on a high in Skarinou village. Here, you'll try your hand at halloumi and bread-making before enjoying a ‘KM0' lunch of locally sourced ingredients at a family-run restaurant.
