The north of Cyprus oozes history and culture at every turn with stunning landscapes in between. Highlights on this late morning departure tour include the pretty harbour town of Kyrenia, Bellapais Abbey and the northern and southern sectors of the capital, Nicosia.

You'll arrive mid-morning at rustic and laidback Fikardou. All cobblestones and historic houses, time seems to have frozen still here. And with free time to explore, you'll find that ancient traditions still hold their way. It's so well-preserved that it's on UNESCO's tentative list of world heritage sites. Next, you'll head to the 12th-century Macharias Monastery, which is located on a remote hillside. Its lavishly decorated interior houses a sacred icon of the Virgin Mary. We'll then go to charming Lefkara, a village famed for its handmade lace and embroidery. ‘Women, young and old, can be seen seated outside their homes and shops making lace,' says Stavroula. ‘For hundreds of years, the men from the village have travelled all over Europe to sell it, even Leonardo da Vinci bought some.' The tour ends on a high in Skarinou village. Here, you'll try your hand at halloumi and bread-making before enjoying a ‘KM0' lunch of locally sourced ingredients at a family-run restaurant.

Our local dive site, Green Bay, offers a fantastic experience for beginners, with our crystal clear waters of sunny Cyprus, easy walk in entry and exit points, varied marine life including turtles (if you are lucky).

And you'll really be spoilt – it includes a meal, a swim stop and an amazing fireworks display to end the night.Grab your glad rags and join us as we sail off Larnaca's coast – it's pretty by day but simply magical by night. You'll head towards Macenzie Beach – near to Larnaca airport – where you can watch planes come in to land as you cool off with a refreshing dip in the sea.Afterwards, enjoy your dinner on board and visit the bar en route so you can grab a drink whilst you take in the views of the coast. You'll have free time to embrace the city under your own steam. Ledra Street is one of the main shopping streets in Nicosia, with a mix of local and international brands, cafés and restaurants. Laiki Yeitonia, on the other hand, is a historic quarter in the old town. The area is known for its traditional architecture, narrow streets and abundant charm.
