Urasoe is a neighboring city of Naha that is filled with historical sites dating all the way from the Gusuku period to WWII. As you weave your way across the city between past and present, you'll encounter ancient stone walls of fortresses, tombs of Ryukyu kings long gone, and even a significant WWII battlefield featured in the movie, Hacksaw Ridge.
