Mexican muralism is famous throughout the world for its striking paintings made on the walls and for being a reflection of the Mexican essence . Join us and discover why this movement marked the history of Mexico !
We will begin our tour at one of the city's main museums: The University Museum of Arts , where we will appreciate the first of the mural paintings and admire the beautiful French-influenced architecture of the building. Then we will go to one of the most beautiful temples in Guadalajara: the Expiatory Temple , to admire its beautiful neo-Gothic architecture unique in the city.
we will head to the City Hall Palace and then to the Government Palace , a baroque-style colonial building where we will appreciate some impressive mural paintings by José Clemente Orozco . Later we will walk to the main theater of the city, the Degollado Theater , to admire its beautiful neoclassical architecture and we will enter to see the paintings kept inside.
Later we will tour the beautiful alleys of Guadalajara to end our tour in a beautiful place that is also a World Heritage Site: El Hospicio Cabañas , where we can appreciate some incredible paintings that will leave you with your mouth open. Join us and spend a day surrounded by art!
