The old palaces were converted into museums that displayed royal amenities used by King Rama IV and King Rama V. Wat Mahat Temple is a mixture of the late Ayutthaya and early Rattanakosin styles with an adaptation of the ancient Khmer monastery. Khao Luang Cave Temple was built during the reign of King Chulalongkorn and has a hole through which sunlight comes and shimmers on stones, making the cave colorful and allowing visitors to see all the beauty of the inside of the cave.

The Kaeng Krachang National Park is one of the largest in Thailand and sits right next to the Burmese (Myanmar) border. Pala U Waterfall is a beautiful spot to visit. You will pass through stunning countryside and hills on your drive there that will only take 1.5 hours or so. The waterfall has 16 steps, making it one of the highest in Thailand and those who make it to the top will be rewarded by superb views over Thailand and towards Burma. The Pranburi River is a river in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and is not far south of Hua Hin. Then Wat Huay Mongkol which is home to the enormous statue of Luang Phor Thuate , an immensely popular Thai monk who was credited to have performed miracles many centuries ago. .
