During the Winter we will focus on wolf watching, viewing moose, bison, elk, coyote, etc. We will depart your accommodations and head towards Yellowstone’s northern range, undoubtedly one of the prime wildlife viewing spots in the world, it harbors impressive bison herds, wolf packs, and meandering bears. Visitors are likely to depart from the park’s northern lands with at least one, if not more, checks on their wildlife card. Wild and pristine. When thinking about Yellowstone, a vast and amazing back-country, large carnivores, bison herds, iconic geysers, and geothermal features fill the imagination. Weather permitting we will stop to take fun family friendly hike or two to a secluded lake or waterfall. Mid way through the tour we will stop for lunch at a scenic area. Time permitting we will walk the boardwalks of Mammoth Hot Springs. Hot coco and coffee is provided!

Travel off the beaten path by way of an E-Bike. This tour takes us around Bunsen Peak where you have the chance to witness wildlife and view the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park. This trail does include rough terrain and steep descents. This tour requires stamina, strength and confidence.

3 Hour Paddle We begin our 3 hour paddle of the West Thumb Geyser basin at 8:30 AM. We will traverse 3 miles of wilderness with the opportunity to view active geyser features along the way. Paddling along the shoreline allows for the best wildlife viewing opportunities. Elk are often spotted in Grant Village and sometimes other mammals such as bears and wolves frequent the lake area. A variety of bird species are spotted daily and the water is clear enough to see the native Cutthroat Trout as big as your arm if you're lucky enough. 😉 The fish can get quite large in Yellowstone Lake.

If whitewater is not your thing, the Scenic Float on the Yellowstone River is the perfect trip for you. Take your chance to find wildlife and serenity in the Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Winter is the best time of year to view Yellowstone wolves. Our tour will focus on Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley, undoubtedly one of the best prime wildlife viewing spots in North America as it harbors impressive wolf packs, large herd os bison, elk, and moose. In Dec through March Yellowstone wolves become highly viewable and often be seen challenging elk and Bison in Yellowstones famous Lamar Valley. In late Winter Yellowstone starts to comes to life as the temperature gets slightly warmer, the snow starts to melt, grizzly bears start to wake up from a long hibernation. March in Yellowstone is the best time of the season to view the parks population of grizzly bears fighting against wolves for dominance of food resources and attempt to take over the landscape. This tour is led by a wildlife biologist that is a professional guide in Yellowstone National Park. Through out the day they will interpret the landscape and wildlife interactions.
