Hi everyone and welcome to Montevideo!
The idea is to travel around the city, to know how we live Uruguayan people. In order to do so, we will walk around the main features of 'Ciudad Vieja'. From there, we start our walk, and we discuss Montevideo's history and geography. Walking to 'Plaza Independencia' we stop to see Mausoleo de Artigas and 'Casa de Gobierno'.
From there we take a bus* to Centenario Stadium*. We will talk about urban geography, public policies, and Uruguayan sociopolitical structure, looking into deep aspects of the city and citizenship.
