Kampala is a multi-hill city that has a rich history about Uganda. It is a city with diverse tribes and religions. It best describes the true Ugandan way of life. Kampala is the best first sight in Uganda.

The tour begins at the meeting point of the Uganda National Mosque with your guide. ( The visitor will be required to pay entrance fees to the site, dress in the Islamic dress code, and take a 45-minute tour to see the interior view of the mosque.) Also climb the minaret to have a view of the city of Kampala at its tip .
This will give you the best clue as to how and where we are going to move.

Our next visit will be to King Mengo's Palace to hear the story of the rich history of Buganda and Uganda in general. ( A visitor will be required to pay site entrance fees to take a one-hour tour to view Idi Amin's torture chambers.)

We will head to the city center and walk through Owino Market to experience the organized chaos.
From there we move to the cloth market and stop at a local restaurant to taste local Ugandan food or rolex while enjoying the view of the old taxi park.
Walk through the old tax park to the Hindu temple. ( The temple will not require entrance fees.)
From there to the food market (Nakasero) we will go to the Independence Monument and Sir Edward 2 Monument to learn about the history of Ugandan independence.
