Things to Do in Bishkek
Do you want to see Osh Bazaar, but don't know what you can find there? I'll help you! I have had to help friends from abroad to walk through the Osh market and see all the most interesting things. I love next to this place and I even worked there before, so I know it perfectly.
This is not an exciting tour, it is a leisurely stroll through the market, which has the full flavor of the Kyrgyz people.
Can you buy anything you're interested in, like local dried fruits? Yes! Souvenirs? Yes! national things? Yes! Maybe you need cheap Chinese stuff? I don't think so, but also yes!
If you don`t wanna shop - its fine too, I`ll just show you around.
A market with a huge history closely related to the growth and development of Bishkek.
P.S.
And yes, main goal of mine its provide you safety and also help you to save money there, because having local guy with you - its making walking and shopping way easier. (sure I`ll help you in any process through the tour)
Whispers of History in Bishkek’s Oldest Parks.
During this short walking tour through Oak Park and the Central Public Garden, we’ll explore the early history of modern Kyrgyzstan and meet the people who shaped Bishkek into what it is today.
You’ll learn about a Ukrainian visionary who turned the city into a green oasis, the artist who won a prize at the 1916 World Expo in San Francisco and designed the garden’s layout, and discover who is buried beneath the trees of Oak Park.
We'll also talk about how locals used to quench their thirst in the old days, admire numerous sculptures and monuments, and get a glimpse of modern Kyrgyz art displayed in the open-air gallery.
This is not just a walk — it’s a peaceful dive into the living memory of Bishkek.
