Mackinaw City Parasailing

Parasailing is a water sport in which a person is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The parasail is suspended from a harness that is attached to the boat, and as the boat moves, the parasailer is lifted into the air and glides through the sky. Parasailing in the Straits Area, you can see views of the famous Mackinac Bridge, see Mackinac Island from a distance and a birds eye view of the beautiful Lake Huron. To participate in parasailing, you do not need any special skills or training. The activity is typically supervised by trained staff who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instruction.

Admission Ticket to The old Mackinac Point Lighthouse
Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse was known as the "Castle on the Straits" upon its completion, and it's not hard to see why. The house and grounds are being restored back to its 1910 appearance, and interactive exhibits and galleries, informative demonstrations, and tours of the tower allow guests the opportunity to step back int time and see what life was like for keepers and mariners at the turn of the 20th century.

Historic Downtown Mackinac Admission Ticket
Historic Downtown Mackinac is a collection of historic sites located throughout downtown Mackinac Island, presenting history from pre-European contact into the 1950s. This self-guided museum experience includes The Biddle House, featuring the Mackinac Island Native American Museum, explores the history of the Anishnaabek people of Mackinac Island through the lens of Agatha Biddle, an Odawa woman who lived in the house in the 1830s. The Benjamin Blacksmith Shop is a working blacksmith shop set in the 1950s, toward the end of the shop's life. The Richard & Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum displays works inspired by Mackinac Island, including a juried exhibition. The American Fur Co. Store & Dr. Beaumont Museum was the site of a famous accident that altered the course of medical history, while the McGulpin House is a rare example of French Canadian architecture, and possibly the oldest residence still standing on Mackinac Island.

Colonial Michilimackinac is a National Historic Landmark, and is home to North America's longest ongoing archaeological dig. Costumed interpreters portraying British soldiers, merchants, voyageurs, Native Americans, and other tradespeople are on site daily, providing demonstrations, tours, and programs. Colonial Michilimackinac also offers unparalleled views of the Straits of Mackinac, Mackinac Bridge, and Mackinac Island. During the summer months, weather permitting, archaeologists are on site, digging through the layers of soil, pulling out bits of history in front of you.

Pedaling Petoskey And Harbor Springs Full Day Private Experience
This is an all-time favorite trip around Little Traverse Bay for bicycle enthusiasts! We’ll meet in Petoskey at Bahnhof Sports to rent bikes if you’re not bringing your own, and begin our pedaling journey around Little Traverse Bay from there. We’ll ride through Bay View, a community founded in 1875 by Michigan Methodists, & continue on along Lake Michigan through private gardens, as we approach Petoskey State Park. We’ll then enter Harbor Springs along little Traverse Bay, and ride through Wequetonsing, a lovely community established in 1877 & formerly known as the Presbyterian Summer Resort. We’ll arrive in downtown Harbor Springs just in time for lunch & shopping! After a couple of hours in Harbor Springs, we’ll ready ourselves to board the Little Traverse Bay Ferry and head back across the Bay to Petoskey. Upon our arrival at Bayfront Park, we’ll finish our pedaling journey along the bay on the Little Traverse Wheelway, arriving back at our starting point.

Fort Mackinac Admission
Highlights Include: Live Programs and Tours: Demonstrations and tours by costumed interpreters are scheduled throughout the day.
