Things to Do in Shkoder
Step into Shkodra’s beating heart — a city where every stone whispers stories, and the past lingers in the air like the scent of fresh coffee.
I’m a Shkodra local, carrying both the lived memories of my family and the history of generations before me. Together, we’ll wander through cobbled streets and timeless landmarks, uncovering secrets you won’t find in any guidebook.
We’ll begin at the Municipality and stroll along the lively 28 November Street to the Luigj Gurakuqi Statue, pass by the Migjeni Theater, the elegant Ebu Bekr Mosque, and the Orthodox Church. We’ll walk down Kole Idromeno Street, see the Truma and the charming Gjuhadol quarter, stop outside the Marubi Museum, and admire the English Clock Tower. Our journey ends at the magnificent Cathedral.
By the end, you’ll not just have walked through Shkodra — you’ll have felt it.
