It is the first camp on the way to the highest mountain following the Himalaya and the highest in the Americas: Aconcagua. On the way to one of the 7 highest peaks in the world, all travelers arrive at Confluencia, located in Quebrada de los Horcones (Mendoza) at 3,400 meters above sea level. There, you will have a glimpse of mountaineering and the pleasure of being in nature, in the middle of a small country village. We invite you to live a full high mountain adventure in Mendoza! In this tour, you will have the opportunity of hiking inside the great Aconcagua Provincial Park to visit the Horcones Lagoon. And in the same day, you will visit different historical sites of the Andes mountain range route: Cacheuta, Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata and Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge). During the tour, you will hike around the Horcones Lagoon, with a view of the south wall of Mount Aconcagua, accompanied by professional trekking guides who will share their experiences and advice about this exciting activity. The hike is about 1-2 hours long, and is not very difficult. In addition, we will cover almost 400 km. of route with places that represent a piece of our history and postcard-like landscapes. "Pampa de Canota" is one of the most beautiful places to practice Mountain Bike in Mendoza. Still, it's a place difficult to arrive. The landscape is enormous and also dangerous if you don't know the place because there are no towns kilometers around. That is also the magic of this place. The nature trails, downhills of more than 20km long and the chance to meet the wildlife (guanacos, foxes, condor) turns this place in the ideal place to practice Mountain Bike in a conscious and responsible way.

A perfect day in Mendoza, you will visit a traditional winery and an industrial winery, and stop at an olive oil factory for some sampling on this guided tour. Taste three wines in each winery and every product that is produced in the olive oil factory. Then go to Club Tapiz and visit the old winery, restored in the Renaissance-style. See the cellar and learn the process of making sparkling wine. Visit the museum with the largest mural in Mendoza, painted by the important local artist, Sergio Roggerone. You will experience a full day regional tour. The activity will begin in the Front Mountain Range -at 2,400 meters above sea level- with a low-difficulty 3-hour hike. During the tour we will get to know the typical way of life of the locals, with their livestock and their pace of life, so different from that of the city. Cerro Bayo is named after a particular horse breed. This mountain is part of the ridges and peaks surrounding lake Potrerillos. The general Potrerillos area is famous for its thermal SPA located in Cacheuta, and for serving as a starting point for many trekking trails. Lake Potrerillos was created as a result of building a dam on Mendoza river, and serves as a water source for the entire city of Mendoza. It is fed by glacier and snow-melting water coming down from the higher mountains via the river. The lake has beautiful turquoise water, reflecting the blue sky above. All of this breathtaking beauty is located less than an hour outside of the city, so you will spend minimum time traveling and maximum time immersing in nature.
