Things to Do in Prague

‼️Important‼️
- Our groups are limited to 30 people, which is one of the lowest maximum capacities in the city (other companies typically accommodate up to 40 people). If this number is too high for your preference, we recommend hiring a private guide.
- We are unable to arrange alternate meeting points or assist latecomers in locating the guide, even if they message us via chat. Guides cannot send messages while they are waiting for customers or conducting tours.
- Please note that this activity is not recommended for people with mobility challenges.
- You are welcome to bring kids on our tours, however, if your child isn’t comfortable with spending 3 hours outside and might start crying, it will be distracting for other customers, so please consider joining shorter tours or looking for a private guide.
- If you are coming with a stroller, please note that there are about two flights of stairs you will have to carry the stroller down from at the end of the tour.
- We DO NOT go inside the synagogues and the Old Jewish Cemetery because it requires purchasing a ticket. We see the sights of the Jewish Quarter from the outside! If you’d like to visit the Jewish Museum after our tour, please sign up for the 10 am tour so you have a full afternoon to explore. Things to know:
- Our Prague Castle Tour is a little bit shorter than the other Prague Castle tours on the GuruWalk platform. What allows us to make the tour shorter is that our meeting point is directly below Prague Castle, not in the Old Town. We spend less time getting to Prague Castle. It doesn't mean you will see less!
- You will need a public transport ticket. We take tram to Prague Castle (not everyone is able to climb the hill). You can purchase the public transport ticket at the beginning of the tour. We finish the tour at the easter edge of Prague Castle which is about 10 mins walk from the Old Town. You won't need another public transport to return.
- Prague Castle area is FREE to enter. You don't need any tickets to visit Prague Castle. However, there are a couple of buildings in Prague Castle you can only visit with an entrance ticket (St. George's Basilica, Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane, and the eastern part of St. Vitus Cathedral). We do not go inside these buildings on the tour. If you would like to visit the paid parts of Prague Castle we suggest joining the 11 AM Prague Castle Free Tour to get an overview of the castle's history. After the tour, you will still have 3-4 hours to explore the interiors.
- If you are coming with a stroller, please note that you might have to carry the stroller up on a tram as not all trams are accessible. Additionally, the tour finishes near the castle steps, but you can take a cobbled car road downhill instead.
- This tour connects to our Old Town, Jewish Quarter, and Charles Bridge Free Tour. You can easily combine it since there is a 2-hour long break between each tour. See our profile and which other free tours you can join with us in Prague!
!!!IMPORTANT!!!
Due to the installation of the St. Vitus Cathedral Organ, the FREE SECTION OF ST. VITUS CATHEDRAL IS CLOSED. At this time, the duration of the closure is uncertain, but it's estimated to last at least until April 2024. Until then, visitors can only access the paid section of the St. Vitus Cathedral. WE WILL NOT ENTER THE CATHEDRAL on the Free Prague Castle Tour until the organ installation is finished.
⚠️Bookings for groups larger than 6 adults are not accepted ⚠️
