Join our grand tour to hear how Copenhagen became the fantastic city it is today. This isn’t your typical architecture tour.
We’ll take you beyond the usual sights to explore Carlsberg Byen, tucked inside Copenhagen’s vibrant Vesterbro district. It’s a story of bold architecture, groundbreaking beer, climate innovation — and one unforgettable family feud.
We’ve spent the last 12 years showing people the real Copenhagen — beyond the postcards and tourist-packed streets.
On this story-driven walking tour through Carlsberg Byen, we uncover a lesser-known part of the city where historic breweries, world-class architecture, and a bitter family feud built something far bigger than beer.
Sustainability Meets Story
Carlsberg Byen is a living case study in urban regeneration and sustainable design. You’ll learn how climate resilience is literally built into the streets — with basketball courts that double as rainwater basins and parks that hold floods.
Old factories become hotels. Bricks are reused. Towers go up where tanks once stood. And the story? It's still being written.
