Be welcomed at 4:00pm in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House in the middle of Champagne vineyards (Le Clos Corbier). During the visit to the cellars dug in the 1850’s, you will start with the discovery of a traditional press and learn all about the secrets of the champagne making process. Take a seat and enjoy your tasting class with a champagne quiz then train your nose to identify the different aromas and flavors that can be found in Champagne through an olfactory workshop. Get competitive as you blindly identify 3 different Champagnes from the family including one Grand Cru Vintage. You will enjoy some local sweet treats and finger food paired with your champagnes ! (It can be adapted to allergies or specific diets) Your Champagne experience ends around 5:30pm.

Together, we will leave for a period of 2 hours to discover the historic vineyard of Aÿ-Champagne, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will immerse yourself in my profession as a winegrower during a peaceful and romantic stroll. Then, I will make you discover my champagnes in the heart of the vines. It is therefore in the heart of nature and facing unforgettable landscapes, that the moment of a tasting time stops, giving way to the effervescence of Champagne emotions. Prepare to share my open-air bubble and remember to bring a cap, hat, scarf, jacket and good humor (depending on the weather conditions) on the day of our adventure.

Immerse yourself into the french lifestyle with a traditional lunch which consists in homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes. Meet your guide in Reims at 02:00PM or directly at Le Clos Corbier at 02:45PM. Drive in the Champagne countryside to a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier, where your electric bike will be ready for you to ride. Your bike will take you though the Champagne vineyards and hillsides, heading towards the village of Hautvillers, where the famous monk Dom Perignon discovered the prestigious elixir. Have a break in front of the church and hear about the history of Champagne. Cycle back to Le Clos Corbier down the Marne canal. Visit the cellars and taste different champagnes from the family domaine. You will discover and learn about the champagne making process. After this memorable afternoon, your guide will drop you off at Le Clos Corbier at 06:15PM or in Reims at 07:00PM. Please note: - electric bikes are heavier than regular bikes, as a consequence, it is required to be comfortable cycling. - in case of bad weather the tour will be operated by minivan
