Bodyflying & Indoor Skydiving at FlyStation Munich
User rating
Indoor skydiving is an easy way to experience the thrill of real flying - it is just as exciting as skydiving, but absolutely safe! Our technology is bringing the authentic sensation of skydiving to all of our guests. Two minutes of flying in the wind tunnel represents the equivalent freefall time of two skydives from the altitude of 5000 meters. The original design of our 4,5 m diameter and 19 m high flight chamber, featuring a perfectly round shape and two levels of glass, makes it possible to enjoy flights at all speeds. The walls of the flight chamber are absolutely transparent, which allows our guests to view the flights of friends and family members. Our instructors will provide an engaging pre-flight briefing lesson, which lasts about 20 min. No special skills or previous experience are needed. Flying is everybody’s fantasy from childhood. Turn that dream into reality with FlyStation.

Explore Munich: A Free Stroll Through Landmarks, Legends & Local Life
User rating

Join me, Patrick, for a fun and engaging walk through the heart of Munich!

After living here for more than ten years, I love sharing not only the highlights but also the hidden corners that make Munich so special.

Together we’ll explore the Old Town — from Odeonsplatz to Hofbräuhaus — stopping at landmarks like the Royal Residence, the War Memorial, and the Frauenkirche. But beyond the well-known sights, I’ll also guide you through quiet side streets, tucked-away courtyards, and local spots you’d likely miss on your own.

This isn’t a tour of just dates and names — I focus on stories, insights, and little details that bring the city to life. My goal is for you to leave with a deeper sense of Munich’s culture, personality, and how its history connects to the present day.

Whether it’s your very first visit or you’ve been here before, I look forward to showing you Munich in a way that feels memorable, personal, and full of character.

Let’s walk, laugh, and fall in love with Munich together!
Depending on the time of day, season, or even the weather, the exact route may vary a little — so each walk feels fresh and adapted to the moment.
Cash(Euro),  PayPal and Wise are accepted. (Card payments aren’t available at the moment — thanks for your understanding!)

English Free walking tour of Munich - Fun & informative!
User rating

Join me for a fun and informative 2.5 hour walking tour around the wonderful old city of Munich. Along the way you will learn about the origins of the city, cool king's, local legends, Third Reich history and of course the Bavarian culture, traditions and beer!

I want you to learn but put emphasis on having a good time, so I teach history through telling engaging and fun stories. This is an interactive tour, so I will be asking you questions. In my experience, the best tours are when everyone feels involved in the learning experience.

The tour includes a 15-minute break, which allows you to look inside the Hofbräuhaus and go to the toilet and get food/ drink. At the end of the tour you will get a list of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Weather:
During colder months I will do my best to make sure the tour is mostly undercover, so that you are comfortable and during Summer I'll keep you in the shade.

Group size:

The average group size is 10 - 30 people throughout the year depending on the season and what events are happening in the city.

Although I do most of the tours myself, I do have a small team of guides who also work for me with similar guiding styles.

Important!:
The afternoon tour can sometimes be shorter at 2h20m.

The tours are in English and maximum group size per booking is 6.
Do not make multiple bookings for a larger group and if you want to bring extra people to the tour then you need to ask before the tour! Don't just bring people and expect they can join. Groups that break this policy will be asked to leave. Please have some respect for us guides and the group sizes.

It is essential that you download the Guruwalk app as this is where I will send you important updates about any changes to the tour.

Old Town Munich Tour by Walkative!
User rating

During our tour, we will talk about both the light and dark pages of German history. We will learn about the history of Bavaria from the Roman beginnings of the city, through 700 years during which it was ruled by one powerful family, the Wittelsbachs, to the unification of Germany by Bismarck in the 19th century. We will see the places where Nazism was born, but also those where Joseph Ratzinger, the future Pope Benedict XVI, worked while still an archbishop. We will also see, perhaps the most disappointing attraction of the city – a show of knightly figure fights in the city’s carillon.

Take a walk with us and get to know a city that combines like no other seemingly contradictory fields: history and motoring, art and technology, entrepreneurship, and a specific lifestyle of Munich people, which is a mixture of self-confidence, freedom, and cheerfulness. Perhaps all these contradictions are seamlessly united by what is most important to Munich people… beer!
