The PADI Discover Scuba Diving is your first experience underwater! Blue Fin Divers is a PADI 5 star IDC Resort. Since our opening, in 2006, we have taken pride in sharing with divers our passion: scuba diving! During your Discover Scuba Diving program you will dive directly in the sea in pool like conditions (great visibility, lack of currents and wave)! Our reef is the perfect dive site to start diving as it is interesting and easy! Mediteranean fishes, octopus and turtules are often spotted. Our team of multilingual PADI professionals would be happy to guide you for your first experience underwater!

The tour starts at the beautiful, sandy beach of Kalandos! After an equipment check and safety briefing by your certified guide, you’ll be ready to go! You’ll be paddling a distance of about 8 km. Along the way, the view from the neighboring Cycladic islands is breathtaking! We’ll make stops at tiny sea coves where we’ll stop to swim. You will paddle among awesome geological formations along the coastline until you reach the most impressive of them all: Rhina Cave with its ceiling of miniature stalactites and its inviting beach nearby! Rhina Cave’s pristine, secluded beach invites you to relax. We'll make a stop at the beach for about 30-40 min. Your guide will prepare for you delicious snacks. All you have to do is just sit back and enjoy, or swim, snorkel and explore the rich marine life of the area! Then back to our kayaks to head back to the starting point at Kalandos Beach.

Next, comes the greatest part of the tour. We’ll all be sitting down to share the dishes you made yourself, along with another Greek traditional dish prepared by our chef. Not only will you be at the highest point in the Cyclades, but you’ll have hiked to the summit of the mountain where Zeus, Father and King of the Olympian Gods, was raised. The trail you’ll be following is exactly the same trail people have been following to the top of the mountain since ancient times. The vast blue of the Aegean Sea will accompany you along the way, while the view of the neighboring Cycladic islands is breathtaking. When you’re at the top, the 360 degree view is worthy of the Gods! Once you reach the top, you’ll spend some time taking photos and having a delicious traditional treat.
