Join us on a curated history walk across modern-day Malviya Nagar, Hauz Khas, Beghampur in South Delhi as we explore the life and times of the different rulers of the Delhi Sultanate across 13th-14th century Medieval India.
Over the duration of 2 hours we will explore the less-explored monuments built by the master builders of Delhi – the Tughlaqs; hear stories of curses of sufi saints, wars, shifting of capitals, demonetisation, patricide, fratricide and palace intrigues. The walk will be interspersed with a theatrical performances by Parthajeet as the maverick monarch Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq!
Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq is an enigma in Indian medieval history; he is a genius who was far ahead of his times, a self-obsessed power-hungry sultan accused of murdering his own father and brother for the throne of Delhi, a devout Muslim who forced his religion with all his force on his citizens, a spiritual seeker who sought enlightenment all his life, a scholar par excellence and a madman who changed his capital twice and inflicted woes and tortures on his subjects which would shock the brutality of barbarians.

This tour is the tour of Street Food of Old Delhi. Where we are going 8 Food joints. Which very famous for their food and 50 to 150 year old also. All the joints are safe and hygienic. You have to pay for food.
We kick-start our day at the Chawri Bazaar Metro Station in Old Delhi where an other-worldly charm awaits us. This colorful part of the city has been charming visitors for over three centuries. It encompasses some of the best street-food of the city, age-old bazaars, historical monuments, and numerous religious structures (including the largest mosque of India!).
We start our adventure with a walk through the bazaar next to the subway, appreciating the hard-working locals pushing heavy carts through narrow alleys. Continuing our walk, we stop at the 17th century mosque Jama Masjid. Next, we explore the wedding paraphernalia market Kinaari Bazaar. Walking through this captivating street, we stop for a cup of masala chai (the national drink of India!) before savoring the much-loved local snacks Paranthas! I'll take you through a hidden laneway, stopping for photos in front of painted havelis (mansions) dating back to the 19th century. We continue our journey to Khari-Baoli, the largest spice market of Asia!
After our unforgettable adventure, we catch the metro/taxi back to your place.

I heartily welcomes you in Delhi, I will meet you at the shri Digambar Jain Lal Temple. Here we will be introduce with each other and I will describe some basics to know about during the walk. I will share some tips to travel safe in India. Then we will head towards the Chandi Chowk market. I will share the historic importance of the place and then we will start our Local food Experience. We will pass through the streets of old market and will try some the most of the famous food of this market.
We will also visit Asia's biggest spice market here and we will know about the spices we grow in India.
We will also visit the Sikh Religious place known as Gurudwara and it's massive food preparation.
During the walk if you want, I will take some nice pictures of you to make this day memorable.
We will have a rickshaw ride also to explore the streets of this place.
This will be an very interesting tour so we will experience all these things including food tasting and a rickshaw ride etc.
I have a lot of experience about the Indian village life and village wedding traditions also so when we will have little free time, I will describe the basics about indian village life also that will make it more interesting.
