Rollercoaster thrills and peaceful views of Mount Fuji – combined!

【The tour is suitable for the guests who stay around Lake Kawaguchiko,Lake Yamanakako and Fujiyoshida areas.】 This tour involves 3-3.5 hours hiking on the highest peak at Yamanakako area. There are more than 400 stairs at the beginning of the hike and we need to climb up steep and narrow hill at the last 30 minutes. You need to be fit to get to the top! We can enjoy the great view of Mt.Fuji and Lake Yamanakako from there after the adventure:) The highlight of the tour isn't only the scenery. There is Ishiwari-shrine at the 8th station which has a large rock and people said it is the stage of the Japanese mythology called”Ama-no-Iwato”. The rock is so cracked that one person can barely pass through and If you can walk through it three times clockwise, it is said that it will bring you a good luck! We'll have lunch at local Udon noodle restaurant after the hiking. The guide takes you to the best place. Let's enjoy authentic Japanese food there!

Qin’s last strong wish was to live forever and ordered Xi Fu to find the eternal life medicine from the holy eastern mountain. There are many legends about Xi Fu throughout Japan and also in Fujiyoshida. Xi Fu recorded in the document about the history of Fujiyoshida and it said there were 7 shrines and head quarter shrine to do the ceremony of ascending to the emperor. The Japanese emperor’s title “Tennou” actually means the Northern Dragon, Hokushin, which is the deification of the Polaris and the big dipper. Visiting and walking the pilgrimage trail on the footage of Mt.Fuji will make you connect with the ancient people’s feeling and will have the meditation effect and to understand the meaning of the Asian dragon.
