Jump with me into a time machine and travel 1200 years back in History. My name is Abdou Rahim. I was born and grew up in the historical car-free medina of Fes. I'm a Professional Tour Guide (licensed by the Ministry of Tourism). Showing you an examples of public oven , hammam and fountain, and coranic schools because they are part of the classical educational system in morocco. The coranic schools used as a primary school and the madrasas used as a secondary schools and then the quaraouine University and by the coming of the French authorities in the colonial period they brought with them the modern educational system and that's what we are using right now. I will provide an insight into the history of the city of Fes, which was founded in 808 (9th century) and was the first capital of Morocco under the Idrissid Dynasty, the Almoravid Dynasty, the Almohad Dynasty and the Merinid Dynasty.
