It's an unexpected visit, as it integrates all stages of history: we'll pass through Roman gates, walk along the Almohad walls, visit medieval palaces, learn about the Jewish quarter, the pilgrimage route, the military orders, and the most relevant history up to the 19th century.
We depart from the majestic Plaza Mayor, the vibrant heart of the city, to enter the elegant Gran Vía street. From there, we reach the tranquil Plaza de San Juan and continue along the historic Calle Pizarro to Plaza de las Claras. We pass through the South Gate and stroll down the picturesque Calle Pereros, arriving at the evocative Olive Grove of the Jewish Quarter. We lose ourselves in Callejón del Moral, cross the East Gate, and walk down Calle del Cristo. Amid shadows and whispers, we pass through Callejón de la Amargura, emerging in the monumental Plaza de Santa María. We continue along Calle Tiendas toward the North Gate, descend the Cuesta del Maestre, and stop at Plaza de Santiago and Plaza de la Audiencia. We return along Calle Muñoz Chaves, completing the circle in the incomparable Plaza Mayor.
