Things to Do in Reus
On the path of Antoni Gaudi, I invite you to Discover Reus, the Economical center of Catalunya during 3 centuries.( from the 17h to the 20th). The modernist city of Catalunya with 80 buildings, the world capital of Brandy and Vermouth!!!! Through our immersive walk into the history of Reus we will pass by the junior high school of Gaudi, the Saint Peter Church, the main square and the main street of the city to admire the most remarkable monuments of Reus. Our tour will end at the central Market with a lot of fascinating options for your free time. SPECIAL EVENT EVERY SATURDAY MORNING AT THE END OF THE VISIT ENJOY THE ANTIC MARKET.
London, Paris... No, Reus. Once the city that, along with these other two, set the price of spirits. Now, the birthplace of vermouth. A leading commercial city, its cobbled pedestrian streets hide modernist treasures in every corner and countless stories.
Our tour will begin and end in the central Plaça Mercadal, the seat of the City Council. From there, we'll walk through its streets, leading us to:
- The Priory of Sant Pere
- Old Fish Markets
- Gaudí's Birthplace
- Sant Joan Street
- Monterols Street
A route in which we will discover buildings such as the Rull house, the Gasull house or the Navàs house , some of the great works that Lluís Domènech i Muntaner has in the city, in addition to traveling back in time to the city's more medieval past.

The visit can optionally begin with a guided tour of the Minerals and Rocks Room of the Salvador Vilaseca Museum in Reus. From the museum building itself, the itinerary will begin with a duration of approximately 90' that includes a visit to 14 buildings where facades with geological materials are found, covering a wide range of main types of rocks: sedimentary, metamorphic and magmatic.
The guide has developed an audio guide in several languages, currently available (https://ja.cat/audioguia_geologica) in Spanish, Catalan and English for free. However, if you hire the services of the guide, the audio guide will be expanded in many aspects and you will be able to ask relevant questions.
