I'm excited to offer you a walking tour that begins at the Bangkok Train Station. This journey is designed to share the history of trains in Thailand and wander through the fascinating Chinese neighborhoods. If you'd like, we can stop for some delicious snacks and an easy lunch in Chinatown.
It was my mom who first introduced me to the wonders of Chinatown when I was a child, and I'd now love to show you around.
Our walk will cover approximately 2.5 kilometers, starting at the Bangkok Train Station and concluding at the Wat Mankong MRT station(BL29).

Let discover one of the biggest market in South-East Asia, Khlong Toei, Bangkok !
We will first start our journey by experiencing the Metro (MRT Hua Lamphong will cost 27 Bath), to arrive near the market. We will first cross the impressive FYI Center to continue our way through the small alleys of the market. Here, we stroll along fruits, raw meats, seafood, clothes and more !
We are here mainly to admire and to take pictures.

As local people are constantly working and going around, we can not make stops all the time along the stalls. We will stop and discuss about what we see later on.
After our time in the market, we will cross a huge intersection to end up in the modern PARQ building for cool down and toilet stop.
This walk is for the MARKET LOVERS. You can also going back to the market after our walk, as we finish just near by, at the Queen Sirikit Metro station.
We do not visit any temple or shrine or touristy stuff here. Its really a market walk, and also to learn about the daily life that is going on here in Bangkok.
• Buy treats for ponies, elephants, camels, birds, etc.and attend shows put by cute animals and cowboys at Safari Park.
• Meet penguins, dolphins, polar bears, etc at Marine Park and enjoy 7 shows put up by cute animals and brave cowboys.
From gigantic MBK shopping center to Chit Lom BTS sky train, we will walk in both downtown district to some small alleys.
Starting at MBK downtown, we learn about Sky train system and take it to Chit Lom station (25 Bath). From here we walk on the sky bridge towards the modern Apple Store and Central World shopping mall.
Then we walk down on Ratchadamri street to go up on a another sky bridge leading us to Platinum fashion mall.
Here our walk goes down some small alleys where we talk about the daily life of the Bangkonian.
This alleys leads us at the interested Chaloemla (graffiti) park.
Then we finish at Saphan Hua Chang pier where you can catch taxi boat (12 Bath) to the old city and Khao San area.
This is a downtown walk, if you fancy tourist stuff, this walk is not for you. We will be walking and using local transport as the Bangkonian do. This walk is good if you just arrived in Bangkok as we talk and use local transportation. Keep in mind that walking in Bangkok is hot and exhausting, so if you are already tired, better not to come.

Walking the hidden city and a forest park in the heart of 12 millions inhabitants !
Starting from sky train Nana (BTS), we will first talk about the local transport system and nightlife, then jump on the BTS to reach Phloen Chit station (17 Bath).
Here we get some info about street food and price, on our way to the infamous Nana street (hidden bars) and nightlife area.
That sector leads us to the new Benjakitti forest park, where a walkway goes through the wetland, as originally was here.
We will get a glimpse at the beautiful lake in the park, to end up on Sukhumvit / Asok road, at the gigantic Terminal 21 (BTS) Asok, where this vibrant city regains its vitality !
Experience Bangkok with me, as the people use to. It's a urban stretch and park walk, we are strolling in the city like locals and we see what tourist usually don’t.
There is no tourist stuff here, no backpackers, you are in the heart of Bangkok. If you have already done most of the traditional visit and wonder what to do more, this walk is for you !
