Our Political Tour offers a fresh and balanced look at Belfast’s turbulent history. We are a new generation of guides – some from Belfast, others from beyond – united by a shared commitment to tell the story of this city without bias. Our aim is to give visitors a deeper understanding of “The Troubles,” the communities involved, and the ongoing journey toward peace.
The experience begins at Belfast City Hall, where we set the historical scene: the centuries of British rule, the 1916 Easter Rising, the partition of Ireland, and the rise of tensions between Catholic nationalists and Protestant unionists. With this context, we explore the city’s divided neighborhoods and their powerful murals.
On Falls Road, the heart of the republican community, we visit the International Wall, the Divis Tower, and the famous Bobby Sands mural.
Each stop reveals the struggles, hopes, and cultural identity of the people who lived through decades of conflict.
Crossing the Peace Wall, covered in messages of reconciliation, we move into the loyalist Shankill Road. Here, murals, memorials, and stories highlight the experiences and perspectives of this community.
Our tour concludes with a reflection on the Good Friday Agreement and Belfast’s transformation into a modern city.
Whether local or international, our guides share one mission: to help you understand both sides of history and connect with the real Belfast.
• Sit amongst 40,000 interlocking basalt columns arranged in a honeycomb pattern, where 60 million years of history will whisper their timeless tales.

• A picnic at the Dark Hedges will transport you to the King's Road from the world of Game of Thrones.
• Fun Fact: Giants Causeway got its name from an Irish legend — giant Finn McCool built the causeway to settle beef with another giant in Scotland.

✨“One wall, two worlds, and one buried secret: discover it on our Belfast Political Tour”✨
It all begins in a divided city. It's not fiction. It's not a stage set. It's Belfast , where the streets still whisper stories that don't appear in the history books.
Imagine standing in front of a 5km wall, covered in murals that silently scream their truth. On one side, the hope of a united Ireland; on the other, the strength of an indivisible Kingdom. This is where it all began. Do you dare to cross?
For two hours, we'll walk through the real-life scenes of the armed conflict that divided Northern Ireland for three decades. This isn't a tourist tour: it's a raw, human, and moving experience . You'll experience it through real stories, testimonies, open wounds, and symbols that tell it all... without saying anything.
We will visit:
- Falls Road
- Divis Tower
- The Wall
- Clonard Martyrs Memorial Garden
- Shankill Road
- The former fish market that was the scene of the 1993 attack , El Bayardo ...
- And of course, the 1998 Peace Agreement , the beginning of the end… although the scars still bleed silently.
Why is this tour different?
Because we don't tell it to you as a lesson. We tell it to you as someone who's lived it. Because you don't just see places, you understand them. Because it's not a tour, it's an emotional journey.
