This is a great opportunity for solo travelers as we are committed to providing excellent experiences and do not have a minimum number of participants for this tour. The only reason we may cancel is due to unsafe weather conditions.

Up to 6 guests will enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful Matanuska river in a late model Chrysler Pacifica (avoid the hassles of big tour vans!) We'll stop on the way for snacks and coffee and enjoy a guided tour as you relax in comfort and style! Once at the Glacier, we will join a guided tour by the local Matanuska Park Guides throughout the glacier and you will be told about the history, size and scope as you traverse the canyons, peaks, valleys and caves on this beginner to intermediate hike. (Licensed by Alaska's Transportation Department, I am setting this up as 3 - 6 people because of the way the Viator commissions and Park fees work, if you are just one or two people you can still book the tour but I need to charge for 3 - 5 people to make it feasible, if that makes sense.)
