My tours are completely flexible so if you want to hike for 3 or 4 miles, great! Or if you just want sit back and relax and enjoy the view that's fine too! This class is a fun and relaxing introduction to learning how to use Alcohol Inks to create beautiful landscapes inspired by the Rocky Mountains. It's great for families and special events as well as those just interested in learning something new. Easier to work with than watercolor and incredibly vibrant, every participant will leave with a matted, finished piece they are proud of and is ready to be framed and hung in their home.

This Make-&-Take class gives participants the chance to design and assemble their own Hummingbird Feeder! Experience the cool art medium of hydro dipping! At this class, you will learn the techniques involved with this unique art experience and pick out your favorite colors from our wide selection of spray paints to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind Hummingbird Feeder that is sure to attract those amazing little creatures. You will also learn some basic macrame knots to create the hanger for the bottle. The Inspired Art Kits include all of the instructions and materials needed to create your one of a kind piece, and can be created either in the studio or the kit can be taken with and created where ever and whenever the participant would like to create!

This awesome throw-back art form is sure to bring out the kid in everyone! Participants leave with a t-shirt, longsleeve, or apron that is dyed and ready to be washed out and worn. The shirt comes with wash & care instructions. Create a shirt as unique as you are!

We will explore and photograph the appropriately named Wild Basin in Rocky Mountain National Park. We will hike along the North Saint Vrain Creek, and stop along the way to photograph several waterfalls (including Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades and Ouzel Falls). Bring your tripod and a polarizer filter, and I will demonstrate my techniques for capturing waterfalls and other moving water in a variety of lighting conditions, and help you capture great silky water photographs. The full hike to Ouzel Falls is about 5.5 miles (9 km) round trip, with just under 1,000' elevation gain. For those not able to do the full hike, we will do a more leisurely hike to Calypso Cascades (about 3.6 miles round trip, and about 700' of elev. gain), which still takes you deep into a beautiful area, with multiple falls, and wildflowers and fall color in season. Don't have a RMNP timed entry reservation? No need! My commercial use permit means we don't need an advance permit!

Pryography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies.

This is a fun project that will 'inspire' your holiday season! Using shrinky-dink and model magic, make a water-less snow globe with your choice of seasonal theme.

This day hiking adventure is for women ages 16 years and older and takes us to Ouzel Falls which is a stunning 40-foot waterfall in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park. We'll start in the remote Wild Basin and travel through dense pine forest while following a mountain stream and passing multiple waterfalls up to our main destination Ouzel Falls. If you love glacier-fed mountain streams, waterfalls, wild flowers, and wild life, you'll love this hike.

No cliffs or steep drops, this is a lower altitude tour with paved roads and beautiful walks where you can experience the waterfall at the Alluvial Fan and Sprague Lake. GRAND TETON, YELLOWSTONE WILDLIFE, SCENIC, HISTORY TOURS. On this epic two day tour of the two parks, you could see moose, bison, elk, mule deer, pronghorn, black bears, Grizzlies, wolves, swans, bald eagles, foxes, coyotes. We will present a brief settlement history of Jackson Hole, as well as geology, scenic tours. We shall hike to Hidden Falls. Stops in the Tetons include Signal Mountain and several other historic and scenic stops. The approach is the same in Yellowstone. However, we shall touch on the brief history of the super volcano of Yellowstone, that way you will have a better understanding of why you will see fumaroles, geysers, hot springs and mud pots. Tours include Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Waterfalls at the Artist Point, wildlife watching in Hayden Valley, the mud volcano and Lake Yellowstone.
