The walk from the parking lot to the overlook is 0.75 mile each way (1.5 miles round trip). You will travel to Lower Antelope Canyon where a local Navajo guide will walk you through the slot canyon. This portion of the tour normally lasts 60-75 minutes. You may have six to eleven other guests with you and your guide during this portion of the tour. Lower Antelope Canyon is known for its magnificent sandstone rock formations and vibrant colors. Each room has a stunning 360-degree view! You must wear sturdy shoes, be able to go up and down steep bolted steps and platforms in the slot canyon, and walk on uneven ground.
