Other sites we frequent are rich with larger species and can reach depths of roughly 100ft. Sites such as Brennecke's Ledge, Fish Bowl, General Store, Ice Box, Turtle Bluffs and Zac's offer incredible opportunities to see sharks, manta rays, dolphins, and when the season is right, the majestic humpback whale. Having been protected by the endangered species act since 1979, the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle has very little fear of the divers that visit their home. We're fairly certain they would throw you a "shaka" as they swam by, if only they had opposable thumbs. With over 1,250 endemic species in the Hawaiian Islands, the Honu is just one of the many exciting animals you will experience on your tour.
