In this free tour, we will meet at Hotel No. 18 in Fort Kochi, on KB Jacob Road. We will gather and then walk through the local streets to Fort Kochi, where we will see the Church of St. Francis, where Vasco da Gama was buried. This 15th-century church witnessed the passage of the Portuguese, Dutch, and British.
As we walk towards the Bastion Bungalow, which is a Dutch infrastructure built on one of the fort's bastions, we will witness a museum inside that has ancient maps, paintings, a Dutch kitchen, and offers an impressive sea view.
We will see colonial buildings built by the Dutch and British, and then we will approach the Chinese fishing nets. Observing the life of the fishermen, the fishing, the fish vendors, and the market will give us a perfect insight into the local life and lifestyle.
Walking towards the beach, you will be able to witness commentary on the fort, the monuments, the sunset, the Dutch Cemetery, and David Hall. Crossing Princess, Rose, and Petrocelli streets , we will head to the Santa Cruz Basilica and the local market.

Iniziamo la passeggiata con la storia di Kochi, storie che iniziano dal I secolo, per poi entrare nel XIII secolo, poi nell'era portoghese del XV secolo, nell'era olandese del XVI secolo, ammirando l'architettura olandese, la vista esterna di Burger Street, Princess Street, Rose Street, la rete da pesca cinese, il bungalow del bastione, la posizione e la storia dei bastioni con l'area di confine del forte.
Dall'era portoghese vedremo la chiesa di San Francesco dove fu sepolto Vasco da Gama. Muovendoci a piedi vedremo dall'esterno il Pandal Cafe, il Kashi Cafe, il Cochin Club, la David Hall, la casa del vescovo, il museo indo-portoghese, il cimitero olandese, la spiaggia, la scuola di San Francesco LP, Peterceli Street, Quieros Street e la chiesa della Basilica di Santa Cruz, per poi entrare nel mercato locale e nell'area locale di Kochi.
Da qui noleggiamo un tutuk per raggiungere la città ebraica, che dista 2 km, e poi iniziamo a camminare verso il Palazzo Olandese, la sinagoga ebraica, il cimitero ebraico, i magazzini, il museo della polizia e il museo dei profumi. In seguito inizieremo una passeggiata al mercato delle spezie e alla zona retrostante il fiume, ammirando le barche dei pescatori locali e il loro stile di vita.
