But please don't be intimidated by the fact that it is a religious site - everyone is welcome to visit this unique site - just as long as you respect the place and crosses that carry different stories with them! You will have a guided tour of the place - hear the story behind it, how it all started! We'll point out some traditional Lithuanian crosses, explain some symbols that can be seen there and give you overall information about the country, culture and its history. After the guided tour you will have free time to explore the place by yourselves - take some beautiful photos and just to take it all in as it really is breathtaking! Going there for the sunrise time will allow you to enjoy the place with no tourists around. And save a lot of time as you will be back in Riga by noon if not earlier!

Have fun and change from busy urban environment to beautiful nature, just on the edge of Riga. Go with ease on ebike motor assisted cycling on forest trails and roads. We will start our trip from Fire watch tower, where you can see beautifull panoramic views of surrounding forests, meadows and highest buildings of Riga. Our journey will take place in an area surrounded by long dune ridges, which are about 10 kilometers long and 0.4 to 1.5 kilometers wide. Local residents call this strip of dunes "Sahara of Riga". Unlike the Sahara dunes, the Riga dunes are covered with planted pine forests. These dunes are a natural monument of Latvia. We will go all the way to Jūrmala's White Dune, which is a large sand dune on the shore of Lielupe and is one of the most beautiful protected natural objects in Jūrmala. We will conclude our trip at our starting point.

The Hill of Crosses in Lithuania is a spectacular and unique site like no other! It is a site of pilgrimage dating back to 1830ties when people started to place crosses here to pray for their loved ones they've lost in the battles (Lithuanian - Polish commonwealth uprising against Russian Empire). In Soviet times this place served as a peaceful protest action against Soviet regime as they tried to destroy the place many times while locals kept coming back and placing more crosses all the time. The Hill of Crosses was visited by Pope John Paul II back in 1993 and since then this place has become very popular - not only between locals but also tourists from all over the world! You're welcome to be a part of this unique growing site by leaving a cross on the hill. You can purchase the cross on the site, bring it with you from your home country or even make one yourself!

Kemeri National Park was established in 1997. With a territory of 38 165 ha is the third largest National Park in Latvia. The greatest national treasure in the Kemeri National Park is the diversity of wetlands there – swamps, shallow seashore lakes, bogs, and animals that live in the National Park. Jurmala is located on the Gulf of Riga, at a distance of 25 km to the West of Riga. We are the ground indoor shooting range in Riga where we offer guns - Glock, Sig Sauer, CZ, Revolver, Makarov, MCM Margolin, Germanica (Shot Gun). Offered a pneumatic rifle and pistol, as well as a Crossbow. This means that any visitor can choose to shoot at the target with the real guns and pneumatic weapons. Shooter age at least 18 years old. Sets available on the website for children and adults. Each client has an individual approach. The lessons last from 30 minutes to 1 hour per set. Day before arriving require making appointment!!! The Salaspils Memorial Ensemble was created in the place where National Socialistic Germany had a police prison and labour correctional camp (from 1941 to 1945). This beautiful memorial site was open in 1967 (Soviet days) as the Soviet Union politics were concentrating on hiding the bad moves of J.Stalin and instead wanted to show to the world the bad stuff done by Nazis. The memorial creates a symbol of the border between life and death with a 100 metre-long concrete wall, on which is written – “Beyond these gates the land groans”. There are also seven concrete sculptures: “Mother”, “The Unbroken”, “The humuliated”, “Protest”, “Red Front”, “Solidarity”,“The Oath”. A beautiful addition to the memorial - indoors exhibition open for visitors to learn from written materials, photos and also video materials where you'll see older people sharing their memories about how they managed to escape or skip the camp.
