This picturesque island has evolved from a 15th-century trading port to the most exclusive resort in Montenegro, and together we'll stop and make some photos of the island and its surroundings. Discover Bar with a French-speaking guide whose mother tongue is French and who knows his country very well. Le Vieux Bar is 4 km from the center. The city was built over several centuries, and was historically one of the most important in Montenegro. We will cross the most typical Kaldrma street where the shops and cafes are located and thus discover the traditional Montenegrin way of life. We will see the ancient city gate from the 11th century, the Defense Citadel, and the monuments that bear witness to the past. Also, the aqueduct which was built during the Ottoman era (17th century) and was used to bring water to the city from a spring located about 3 km away. The ancient churches of St Nikola, St Jovan, St Veneranda... The traces of Venice including the 15th century palace, but also the Turkish baths of yesteryear. And we will finish in style with a panoramic view of the port and the new town of Bar.
