Welcome to the most complex and essential tour of Bratislava.

We will be visiting the most important landmarks and places in Bratislava. Starting with the Main Square (Hlavne Namestie), seeing the famous Bratislava street statues, National Opera and the National Philharmonic Orchestra, Cathedral. We cross the city walls into the second part of the tour, which has the Bratislava Castle, new and the old Parliament and the Michael’s gate (last tower of the city fortification). As of January 2023, it is the best rated tour of Bratislava on Tripadvisor!

Join us for this two hour tour to find out more about the story and history of Bratislava. On the way we will show you the spots that are generally hidden from the sight of a passerby, or the ones you do not know about, if you do not know that local person to show you the cool places. The best way to describe this tour is a fun walk with a local where you see the most unique and nicest highlights of Bratislava.

We will visit the courtyard of the Old Town Hall, the Primates Palace, Blue Church talk about the Gates of Bratislava and much more. If the weather permits, we walk to the Old Bridge and have the most unique skyline view of Bratislava - UFO Bridge, Church Towers and Bratislava Castle all at once.

This tour serves our visitors as a follow-up on the City & Castle tour, where we discuss the basics about Bratislava and Slovakia. We will discuss the importance of Bratislava and the transformation from a medieval to a modern city. The entire tour is without stairs, it is stroller, children and also dog friendly. 

We especially recommend this tour if you have already been to the castle and would like to have a calm stroll around town, perhaps taking a coffee and taking the nicest pictures, whilst learning about what makes our lovely city special.

About my tour

This tip-based 2.5-hour walking city tour will show you many top attractions in the capital of Slovakia.
The guided tour starts at Rybné námestie and continues in the historical center of Bratislava.  
As your expert local guide, I will take you to its top landmarks like:

• Bratislava Castle 
• The Cathedral
• St. Michael’s Gate. 

The tour ends in front of St. Martin Cathedral on Rudnay square.

On this tour you will explore the alternative, not so nice, history of Slovakia and Bratislava. During 50 years of the 20th century, we were a dictatorship. During the 2nd world war, the country of Slovakia was on the side of the axis, and after the war we became the eastern block, however both regimes hurt many people. We will visit the monuments, squares (Stalin Square, Gottwald Square), unique buildings (upside down pyramid), last standing synagogue and many more. (There is some reconstruction near the sites we visit, please keep this in mind)
