Join us for this unique 1 hour spooky walking tour to reveal some of the shocking stories that took place in Bratislava and Slovakia in the past. Discover the dark deeds once happening in the now friendly and prosperous place. Our expert guide will take you on this grim journey and who knows... maybe if we will be silent enough, we may even spot Grim Reaper himself wandering alleys once again.
This tour does NOT take place in really heavy rain, please check Instagram/Facebook of Discover Bratislava for a quick confirmation, if there is a storm.
On this tour you will explore the alternative, not so nice, history of Slovakia and Bratislava. During 50 years of the 20th century, we were a dictatorship. During the 2nd world war, the country of Slovakia was on the side of the axis, and after the war we became the eastern block, however both regimes hurt many people. We will visit the monuments, squares (Stalin Square, Gottwald Square), unique buildings (upside down pyramid), last standing synagogue and many more. (There is some reconstruction near the sites we visit, please keep this in mind)

We'll meet right in the center at Hurbanovo namestie in front of the church with stairs.
After introduction, we’ll hit up the streets of Bratislava, hopping on different themed pubs, tasting different kinds of beer, or wine and of course some shots (depending on your choice from options). You will be able upon request at some places also taste some of our traditional Slovak food bites/snacks that go very well with the drinks. Please note, that this is not an official dinner, but bites only. I am happy to explain to you more about our culture, traditions, must-sees, and dos in Bratislava, and of course our traditional drinks as well. It's more of knowing Bratislava while tasting its bites and drinks 🙂
The pubs and bars we'll be visiting are different themed, so you will enjoy a different experience with every pub we visit. Actually, some of them are most favourite among Slovaks, and I am confident you will enjoy them as well. Most importantly, I can assure you no rushing, we'll take our time at each stop, you will have time to snap some memorable photos if you want to, so we get the best of it all, and you end your tour with a unique Slovak experience. In Slovakia prices are really good compared to western Europe, so you are going to enjoy and not spend much 🙂
