The Bender family continues a 50 year tradition of traveling in open air style safari vehicles north of Corolla along the ocean and sand dunes on a 2 hour, small group, excursion sharing history and ecology along the way. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. This tour also includes a professional and knowledgeable horse guide to educate you on what you are seeing. Choose from one of 3 departure times when you book. The maximum will be TWELVE (12) people. Experience what the Outer Banks is truly all about. Take in either a sunrise or sunset tour and get a chance to experience one of the most beautiful, peaceful moments the Outer Banks has to offer. Tours are generally scheduled for two hours. They would leave from either Pirates Cove or Duck depending on weather. What to Bring- Be sure to dress appropriate for the weather. This location is the ideal location for a first time paddler to try kayaking. The water is very shallow (less than waist deep) and we have an easy access point to the water. You can also have an opportunity to check out local wildlife as the access point is very near the Bodie Island Wildlife Refuge!
