The tour departure is always set 30 minutes after the cruise arrival, and we need to meet outside the port as soon as possible. The departure time is adjusted to coincide with the cruise arrival, ensuring that we always return on time for passengers to reboard the ship. Estancia San Lorenzo has a team of professional Park Rangers who are responsible for the conservation of the natural and cultural site. Out visitors can interact with them to learn about the latest news on the penguin rookery. For over 40 years we have encouraged the research on penguins, working with both national and foreign scientists. Back on the farm, our guests can visit the interpretation center and the traditional farm premises, and taste an exquisite lamb BBQ. We also offer other menu options, including a vegetarian menu.

The Punta Tombo Reserve is a Natural Area that protects the colonies of Magellan penguins. The area is the place chosen by penguins to make their nests and have their chicks. It is the largest Magellanic Penguin Colony, where we can see millions of penguins

Besides our office in downtown Puerto Madryn, we also have desks at both of the city’s piers, and we have been providing shore excursions to cruise passengers for the last 14 seasons. All our tours start and finish at the pier. These rates includes vehicle up to 18 seats, with A/C, English speaking tour guide and box lunch (ham and cheese sandwich, granola bar, 1 Argentinean alfajor and 1 bottle of water) also you can choose between a vegetarian, or gluten free meals. We don’t use coach buses for tours. If the ship doesn’t dock, we don’t charge anything, and if you prepaid for the whole tour or any kind of deposit, we will refund the 100% If you don’t show up at the pier up to 45 minutes after the ship docks (NO SHOW) we will charge 100% of the rate
